suspending tickets has several uses. first, you can take a call-in order on the phone, enter it in real time, suspend it till they arrive for pickup and print a slip for the cook. another use is to enter an order for a customer, suspend it and recall it later for add-on items, suspend it again and finally bring it back when they are ready to pay.
suspended items appear in the second clist window in the middle column of the main window.
you recall a suspended ticket simply by selecting it in the clist window. you can only do this when you are not in another ticket in process. after it is recalled, you can finalize it or add items and/or re-suspend it.
